 It is a bird endemic to in Sri Lanka and it is commonly seen. Their beak is light gray in colour. The gray colour in their fathers has made a unique beauty in world of birds. They prefer being around the tops of trees. These birds can be seen in low country wet zone.  

Ø Sri Lankan Bush Warbler

“The mischief in the world of birds”

Sri Lankan Bush Warbler is a bird which can be seen rarely. The scientific name is Bradypterus Palliseri. There are building their nest on the shurbs 3 feets above ground. These are season in wet zone and central highland. If small bunch of birds are seen playing with shrubs, they are Bush Warbler. 

Ø Sri Lankan Redfaced  Malkoha

This one is also endemic to Sri Lanka and somewhat special. They belong to CUCULIDAE species.

These birds are used to make their nest close to the trunk of trees. This birds peregrinate in herds. There can be seen around rivers of wet zone and even in the Sinharaja forest.   

     Ø Sri Lankan Scaly Thrush

“Even after having a deep voice, laziness all over the body”

Recently Sri Lanka Scaly Thrush has been declared as an endemic bird to Sri Lanka. They belong to MUSCICAPIDAE speices. It is a rare bird. 43cm in size. This birds which eat worms and insects walk really slowly. Though they are lazy, after living birds to their little ones they are complete in their lives. At this situation they do not shout louder.
