"Miss Bangkok"

 

The city Bangkok in Thailand is a tourist destination in the world. Therefore the city has been subjected to urbanization, but it owns a beautiful history. Unfortunately, the current situation of Bangkok has become miserable.

However I am not going to discuss about Bangkok city. My attention to Bangkok is created because of a book. Sometimes you may also have heard about this book. If I am to mention about “Miss Bangkok” book, I will have to talk about very subtle incidents. I would like to mention about a character which I really appreciate “BUA “. Because of parents’ poverty BUA had to give up her education. The author of this book represent the tragedy of a certain group of women in the society. Via the character of BUA.

You may think that selling one’s own self to conquer hunger is a cheap thing. Therefore you may devalue BUA further and blame on her. But once you look deeper in her life, you will really that it is the fault of whole society. At the moment which you read this, there may ones who have got mentally unstable among us. In the present society, prostitution has become a broad economic method. I question myself whether there are people who greed for money this in front of money?

Is our society undeveloped to raise the voice for the women who play their roles as a girls, as a women, as a mother?

Can’t it be there characters like this in Sri Lanka too?

I do not believe in destiny but there should not be BUA who don’t raise their voice for the sake of women. I request you to listen others as much as you can. In the day which every BUA realized that small thing, the world will be much more beautiful place.
